LeBron: Revisited

LeBron: Revisited
by Tami Matheny

Five years ago I wrote a blog about LeBron’s crossroad of dealing with adversity or running from them.  After a short stint with the Miami Heat, James returned to Cleveland to try bringing a championship to his hometown team.  But as the Cavs have fallen behind in the series, LeBron’s behavior has been less than ‘Champion-like’.  While he did win two rings in Miami as a part of the ‘Big 3’, LeBron has failed to bring a Championship to Cleveland.

Any athlete, at any level, but constantly work to get better.  They need to work to improve all four components of their sport; technical, tactical, physical, and MENTAL.  Has LeBron James worked to improve all four areas of his game?  As you read this blog from 5 years ago, it is a legitimate question.

LeBron: Embrace or Race from Adversity

Regardless of how talented you are, you must constantly work to improve.  Regardless of how talented you are, you must learn to deal with adversity.  It is our ability to overcome adversity that leads to growth.  If our athletic career was smooth sailing, then we would never get better.  We must learn to Embrace Adversity and learn from it.
