7. Let them fail. If they are late or forgot equipment, let them suffer the consequences. It will make them better.
8. Teach them to be learners not losers. If they lose or have a bad outing don’t make excuses for them. Let them learn the lesson. This not only prepares them for the next contest but life as well.
9. Your kids are watching you. Make them proud not embarrassed.
10. Never talk bad about teammates or coaches. If its bad behavior use it as a teaching lesson but not to bash someone on their team.
11. Watch what you say to our around other parents. Don’t be the drama queen or gossip guy of the team.
12. What you focus on grows. Live by this and teach your child this and they will be successful.
